General directions are as follows:
- Head for Coleford in the Forest of Dean
- Once you are in Coleford, follow signs for Clearwell
- As you get nearer Clearwell you will see signs for Clearwell Caves and Clearwell Caste, follow those signs.
- You will go past the Clearwell Caves sign on your left, continue straight on and eventually you will see signs for Clearwell Caste.
- Go through the Castle Archway and you will then be in the main car park for the Castle.

5. Wedding Breakfast (Day) Food Choices
Important: For the Wedding day guests you need to choose your food choices (Starter, Main and Desert), please click on the link below to choose these.
There are options for Vegetarians/Vegans in the selectable options. However like us if you have food allergies (e.g gluten free), please let us know asap so we can let the venue know.
Please book your food choices ASAP and by the latest end May 2025.
6. Accommodation Bookings for Guests
- We have accommodation booked the night before the wedding (23rd July) and the Night of the wedding (24th July).
- Bookings are on a first come first served basis and we recommend if you would like accommodation you book this as soon as possible.
- Accommodation is available in the castle, in the castle grounds properties as well as in local hotels (owned by the castle) which are easily walkable for guests.
- To Book your accommodation please do so clicking the button blow:
- Check out time is 10am from accommodation
- Check in time is 12pm for the Castle bedrooms and 1pm for Castle estate cottages
- Breakfast is 8.30-9.30am served in the Castle Ballroom

We have purchased all the rooms below and so we are now selling you these at cost price on a per room basis which includes bed and breakfast.
If you are unable to purchase the bedrooms via the website please let us know and we can arrange bank transfer etc.
